Patience Jonathan, wife of the president, said on Wednesday that Nigerians would enjoy more dividends of democracy if President Goodluck Jonathan is re-elected on Saturday.

She said this at the Liberty Stadium in Ibadan at a presidential rally organised by the Women for Change Initiative, a pet programme of the First Lady.

Jonathan said that Nigerians would benefit from free education programmes among other people-friendly programmes.

She commended the president for reviving rail transport and ascribed the completion of the Ibadan-Ilorin dual carriage way to his dedication to developing the country.

Earlier in his goodwill message, Sen. Teslim Folarin, the PDP governorship candidate in the state, commended the president for his commitment toward the development of the different sectors of the economy.

“Doing so will enable him to implement his transformation agenda,” he added.

NAN reports that Mrs Kema Chikwe, the PDP National Women Leader, commended women in the state for supporting the party.
