Residents of Ogun state, Southwest, Nigeria have been charged to support the re-election bid of Governor Ibikunle Amosun, who is the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate.
The General Muhammed Buhari Support Group (GMB Support Group) disclosed this during a celebration party of the APC presidential candidate, General Muhammed Buhari at the just concluded presidential election.
At the event which was graced by the creme-de-la-creme in Ogun politics, the group charged the people of the state to vote for Amosun.
According to the state co-ordinator of the group, Comrade Yinka Amosun, voting for Amosun will ensure that he finishes all the good works that he started. He appealed to them to cement the victory by massively vote for Amosun to enable the rebuilding mission continue.
“It is not yet uhuru, we still have another hurdle to cross and that is the governorship election.
“It is only when we vote Amosun that he can bring more dividends of democracy to our great state. With Buhari and APC holding sway at the centre, it will be beneficial and joyful to see that Amosun wins convincingly on April 11, 2015,” the GMB state co-ordinator said.
He charged Nigerians to continue to pray for the new government as it marks the beginning of a new dawn in the history of the country.
“Now, the change we are all clamouring for is here and we are part of the playmakers that heralded the season of change for this country.
“We are all hoping for a nation that is devoid of corruption, indiscipline and mass economy looting by a cabal. It has always been an illusion in the minds of progressive Nigerians that, sooner rather than later, destiny will take its place in the history of our country for good. A new pleasant and adorable nation among the comity of the nations.
