Senator Oluremi Tinubu representing All Progressives Congress, Lagos Central Senatorial District, has expressed optimism that a new Nigeria is possible with the collective efforts of all Nigerians.

Tinubu, who won re-election to the senate, said this in an interview with journalists on Saturday shortly after she cast her vote in the governorship and state house assembly elections at polling unit 034, Ward 9, Bourdillion Road, Ikoyi, Lagos.

“A new Nigeria is possible, this is the reality. It is possible and it will take the effort of everybody.

“So, all hands have to be on deck, is not government, we are the government, the people are the government.”

She urged Nigerians to be patient with the incoming administration of retired Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, the President-elect.

She said that Buhari’s government would work with the masses, adding that she was looking forward to contribute more to the development of the country in the eighth National Assembly.
