Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Dukku, Gombe State, has won two seats in the state House of Assembly elections while APC won one seat in the Kwami West state constituency election.

Announcing the results in Dukku, the Returning Officer of Dukku North, Malam Abubakar Yarda, said Gambo Kabade of PDP was elected with 9,876 votes while Malam Murtala Usman of the APC came second with 5,504 votes.

Mr Gad Hassan, Returning Officer of Dukku South, said Malam Adamu Saidu of PDP was elected with 10,265 votes, while Malam Yakubu Abubakar of the APC who scored 9,053 votes, came second.

Similarly, in Kwami West constituency, Hajiya Fatima Ibrahim, Returning Officer of INEC, said Walid Mohammed of APC was elected with 12,487 votes, while Malam Lamido Buba of PDP came second with 8,618 votes.

There was no clear winner in Kwami East constituency after the collation of results.

The Returning Officer, Hajiya Mairama Salisu, said the elections in four polling units were cancelled because of snatching of ballot boxes.

According to her, there would be a re-election in the four polling units.

NAN reports that the election in the areas were conducted peacefully.
