Good times are here for former bouncer turned music promoter, Wale Babalola, CEO, Fathia Promotion and Entertainment, based in the Washington DC, United States. Wale who dumped his bouncer/body guard job six years ago to float his promotional outfit is now in Nigeria to organise concerts, promote musicians and provide entertainment consultancy.
Wale who has cut his teeth in promoting big celebrities like 9ice, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, Olamide, K1, Sule Alao Malaika has also worked with several big clubs in the United States, giving him an ample opportunity to promote Nigerian artistes alike.
According to Wale, “I always travel down to Africa especially Nigeria to scout for good artistes and I arrange their trips to the U.S. for performances and sometimes I collaborate or arrange with other promoters either in the U.S. or in Nigeria. But seriously, I am planning a big show in December in Nigeria. It is going to be a blast, so watch out.”
