The Inspector-General of Police, Mr Solomon Arase, has charged newly appointed Aides-De-Camp (ADC) and Chief Security Officers (CSOs) attached to state governors to be professional in their duties.

A statement issued by the Police spokesman, CP Emmanuel Ojukwu, on Friday stated that Arase gave the charge when he declared open a two-day induction course for the ADCs and CSOs.

Arase further charged them to maintain the standard dignity of the force.

“The course is aimed at empowering and improving the capacity of the officers,” he said.

He warned the officers against engaging in any domestic duty or conducts that might demean their offices.

The police boss advised them to maintain a standard attitude in line with the code of conduct while ensuring security coordination of their principals.
