National telecoms operator, Globacom, has tasked the Flying Eagles to sustain its newly found rhythm at the ongoing FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand by beating Hungary in their last group match on Sunday.

The Nigerian junior national team whipped Korea DPR 4-0 on Thursday after losing 4-2 to Brazil in the opening Group E game on Monday. Brazil also beat Hungary 2-1 to advance to the second round. Nigeria and Hungary will now lock horns on Sunday to determine who will occupy the second position in the group.

“We must congratulate the Flying Eagles for their remarkable come-back against Korea which has brought Nigeria back to contention for the trophy and redeemed our country’s image,” Globacom said in a statement issued in Lagos on Thursday.

The Flying Eagles require six points and victory against Hungary to guarantee its qualification from Group E and a place in the Quarter Finals.
