Wike appoints SSG, Chief of Staff, others

Rivers State Governor, Chief Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, has approved the appointment of Kenneth Kobani the immediate past Minister of State for Commerce and Industry and one time Commissioner of Finance under former Governor Dr. Peter Odili, as the Secretary to the State Government, SSG.

He also appointed Engr. Chukwuemeka Woke, former Chairman of Emohua local government council, as Chief of Staff, Government House.

Similarly, Sir Opunabo C. Inko-Tariah, JP, Publisher of HardTruth a Port Harcourt based tabloid as Special Adviser to the Governor on Media & Publicity and Dr. A. J. Beredugo as Senior Special Assistant on Research and Documentation.

In a statement issued by the state government and signed by Opunabo Christian Inko-Tariah, Wike also appointed Gilbert Nria and Imeh Fubara to serve as Senior Special Assistants, office of the Deputy Governor.
