Fuji Music Star, Sulaimon Alao Malaika and Pop Star, Davido have been inducted as members of Nigerian Army 65 Battalion Club in Lagos.
P.M.NEWS Entertainment Café learnt that during the event tagged ‘Tombola Night’ held on Friday, 5 June at the 65 Battalion Camel Officers’ Mess in Bonny Camp, Victoria Island, Malaika performed most of his popular songs including Proper Music, Super Star and Special Day. This kept the audience asking for more.
“It is a pleasure to be inaugurated as one of the members. I feel honoured. I appreciate those behind this and vow to always abide by the rules and regulations of 65 Battalion,” Malaika said after receiving his membership card.
The audience who were majorly military top figures were also thrilled by Davido who belted out hit songs from his rich repertoire including Aye, OBO and Gobe.
‘Tombola Night’ is a social gathering that affords officers and their civilian friends the opportunity to meet and interact in an informal atmosphere.
