Chief Nnamdi Orji Iroh, the Arochukwu/Ohafia House of Representatives candidate for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Eastern Nigeria has expressed implicit confidence in the election petition tribunal sitting in the High Court 2, Umuahia, capital of Abia state to overturn the outcome of the election in the constituency.

He said the election tribunal will dispense justice in order to ensure that his election victory is restored.

The APGA House of Representatives candidates stated this on Monday at the court premises during an interview with PM NEWS Correspondent. He noted that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate declared the winner of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was not the rightful winner of the said election.

He however prayed the court to restore his alleged robbed victory noting that he has confidence in the judiciary as the last hope of the common man.

Iroh who disclosed that he was robbed of victory as votes were arbitrary awarded to his opponent through connivance with INEC.

The Abiriba-born banker turned politician maintained that he defeated his PDP opponent convincingly in all the wards in Arochukwu/Ohafia but however regretted that the final results declared at the LGA collation centres did not reflect what transpired at the various pooling units of his constituency.

To this end, he expressed delight that the right place to get his mandate back was the court.

He advised his supporters to be patient that his stolen mandate would eventually recovered given the overwhelmingly evidence at his disposal.
