New CP takes over in Lagos

The new Commissioner of police Lagos State CP Ajani Owoseni has taken over from Mr Kayode Aderanti.
The brief ceremony took place at the state Police Command Headquarters, Ikeja, Lagos State, western Nigeria.
Oweseni arrived the state command at about 2:30 pm and was received by officers who mounted a guard of honour for him before he met with Aderanti for the handover.
The Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase had redeployed Aderanti and the commissioners in Ogun and Rivers states last week.
Aderanti is now CP in charge of Department of Operations, FHQ, Abuja.
