Daniel Eromosele, Senior Special Assistant on Culture and Tourism to Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo, said the State established a reality show project to reduce crime in the state.

Eromosele said on Monday that the project was aimed at providing youths with talents to seek opportunity and platform to break into the limelight.

He said that apart from that, the project would also take some youths off the streets.

He said that the project would leverage on entertainment as viable platform for the promotion of sustainable peace among youths.

Eromosele, who said that his stage name was “Pikolo”, highlighted the objectives of the project as raising role models and fostering significant bond in the entertainment industry.

He said that the project’s code name “Dream Alive” has been on for two years now but this year’s edition would shift from the previous editions which were purely for artist’s performance to a reality show.

He added that young talents were expected to showcase and display their talents in the reality show.

He said that the project was in fulfillment of the state governor’s resolve to address youth’s restiveness in the state.

The comedian disclosed that Aug. 18 and Aug. 20 had been slated for the audition.

He added that the winners of the reality show would cart away mouth watering prizes and also a record production deal with a reputable entertainment outfits in the country.
