Blackbox of crashed Bristow helicopter found

The blackbox of the Bristow Helicopter which crashed into the Lagos Lagoon on Wednesday has been found.

It was gathered the blackbox was found few hours ago by divers who have been searching for it.

Television Continental, TVC, a Lagos-based television station has been scrolling the information as breaking new during its 4.00pm News.

Spokesperson, National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye said he has heard that the blackbox of the helicopter had been found but noted that he has not verified the information.

He said we should contact the Accident Investigation Bureau, AIB for information regarding the blackbox.

Calls made to AIB line was not picked.

The Bristow Helicopter crashed into the Lagos Lagoon on Wednesday with six people killed and six others rescued in a fatal crash.
