As the Alake and paramount ruler of Egbaland, Oba Michael Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, Okujenu IV commences his annual vacation, the Egba monarch has named a Regency Committee to act on his behalf during his one month absence.

The paramount ruler is to begin his annual vacation on Sunday, August 16 to Sunday, September 20, 2015.

In a letter sent to the governor, Ibikunle Amosun dated July, 20, 2015, to intimate him of the monarch’s absence, he stated that a seven-man committee would serve as the Regency Committee.

The Committee is to be headed by Chief Kehinde Sofenwa while Chief Dauda A. Amodu will serve as the Secretary.

Other members of the Committee are; Chief Fola Sowunmi, O. Sodeinde, Sunday Sodeinde, M.K Adenekan and S.A Abati-Sobulo.
