Jamaica’s Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Nigeria’s Blessing Okagbare both reached the 100m final at 2015 IAAF World Championship in Beijing, China.
Defending world and Olympic champion, Fraser-Pryce, qualified fastest for the women’s 100m final at the World Athletics Championships.
The Jamaican posted a time of 10.82 seconds to win the first of three semi-final heats, with former heptathlete Dafne Schippers of the Netherlands qualifying second fastest with a time of 10.83.
Okagbare posted a time of 10.89 seconds but is expected to give Fraser-Pryce a tougher time in the final.
