DHQ alerts the public on fake CDS Facebook accounts

Nigeria Defence Headquarters has alerted the general public of the existence of fake Facebook accounts claiming to belong to the Chief of Defence Staff, General AG Olonisakin created by some cyber fraudsters.

DHQ stated that the Facebook accounts by different fake identities and photographs of the Chief of Defence Staff were not that of Olonisakin.

The Defence Headquarters warned the public that Olonisakin does not operate any of those purported Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any related social media account as claimed and the office of the Chief of Defence Staff is hereby dissociating itself from these fraudulent accounts.

It further warned that any correspondence or exchange of messages on the platform has nothing to do with the office or person of the Chief of Defence Staff, General AG Olonisakin.
