An Ikole Customary Court in Ekiti on Tuesday dissolved an eight-year-old marriage between Mr Olawale Daramola and his wife, Folakemi over adultery, threat to life and lack of care for the children.

The President of the Court, Mrs Yemisi Ojo, upheld the request of the plaintiff.

She said that evidences before the court had proved that there was no more love between the husband and the wife.

Ojo ordered that the first child of the marriage should be in the custody of the plaintiff, while the second child should be with her mother.

She directed the plaintiff to pay a monthly allowance of N5, 000 to the defendant for the upkeep of the second child.

The husband had sought for divorce in a suit he filed against his wife on July 21, on the grounds that the union had broken down irretrievably due to alleged adulterous lifestyle of his wife.

He told the court that his wife’s fetish ways was of serious concern to him, contending that it was a threat to his life.
