Politicians in Iraq reported that Islamic State (IS) militants had kidnapped 127 children in IS-held Iraqi city of Mosul to train them in the ranks of the terror group.

An official from Kurdistan Democratic Party, Saeed Mamouzini, confirmed on Wednesday in Baghdad that IS had kidnapped 127 children aged 11-15 over the past few days.

He said the children had been traced to the IS special camps for training on the use of weapons and implementation of terrorist operations.
