Unconfirmed report said that the wife of the Deputy Managing Director/ Deputy Editor-in Chief of the Sun Publishing Limited, the publisher of the Sun Newspaper, Toyin, had been released by her captors.
A source said Toyin returned home early Thursday morning after she was dropped near a bank by Festac bridge in Lagos but there was no confirmation if a ransom was paid.
Efforts to speak with her husband, Steve Nwosu proved abortive as the time of filing this report.
It will be recalled that Mrs Nwosu, who is a staff of Amuwa-Odofin Local Government was abducted when some hoodlums who police described as armed robbers stormed her residence on Monday night to rob the residents and carted away some valuables at Isolo area of Lagos State, South West area of Nigeria.
The abductors later demanded N100 million naira as ransom.
