The deputy governor of Osun State, Titilayo Laoye-Tomori has finally broken her silence on the rumour of her death, saying that it was orchestrated by her enemies who wanted her dead.

Since Tuesday, rumours of Tomori’s death flooded social media but no one could authoritatively confirm if she was alive or dead.

But all talks of her death was abruptly squashed when Tomori represented her boss, Rauf Aregbesola at the closing ceremony of three-day National Women Conference organised by the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials, COWLSO, held at the Eko Hotels and Towers, Victoria Island, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria on Friday.

Tomori first sang praises to God and asked the thousands of women present at the conference to join her in giving praises to God as He had done things wonderfully well.

She then reminded the audience about the rumour of her death making waves across the nation, saying that here she was hail and hearty and that she is still very much alive.

According the Tomori, the rumour of her death was orchestrated by people from the other side, but she did not expantiate who were the people from the other side.

“You might have heard rumours that I am dead. It is all a rmour. The rumour is being carried out by people from the other side. Thank God, I am alive,” she told the audience.
