Ex-presidential candidate, Olu Falae, kidnapped

Former Nigerian presidential candidate and ex-secretary to the Federal Government, Olu Falae, has been kidnapped.

Falae whose birthday is today, 21 September, was kidnapped by unidentified gunmen at his farm in Ondo State, western Nigeria.

Details about the incident were sketchy at the time of this report.

An Ondo State government official who was contacted said it was the police that were in a better position to provide information about the incident.
