Former presidential candidate and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chief Olu Falae, has been rescued from his captors four days after he was kidnapped at his farm in Akure.

The Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, Wole Ogodo, who confirmed his release on Thursday, however declined to provide details of his release.

“Go to Baba’s house, whatever you find there, that is it,” he said according to PremiumTimes.

It would be recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria had directed the Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase, and other security agencies to take necessary actions to ensure the safe and speedy rescue of Falae.
