Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) Football Club of Lagos have confirmed their desire to win the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 4 which is scheduled to hold in October at a yet to be decided venue.

NNL Chairman, Chief Emeka Inyama, disclosed that the event which will be played by all four teams promoted to Globacom sponsored Nigeria Premier League (NPL) will meet at a venue yet to be decided to produce the overall best team at the end of the just concluded NNL season.

“We are in talks with two potential sponsors for the Super 4. Hopefully, we will hear from them by this week. If that is done, then the event will hold in the next two weeks,” explained Inyama, a board member of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), while speaking with MFM FC chairman, Godwin Enakhena.

In his reaction, MFM FC Head Coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu said he is excited that the NNL Super 4 is coming so soon and will afford him an opportunity to prove that his side was the best in the NNL.

“This is good news for me and the players. It’s a unique opportunity for us to prove to the world that our promotion to the NPL was well deserved.

“Aside that, the Super 4 will afford us an opportunity to begin preparations in earnest for next season in the top flight,” said Ilechukwu, who is fondly called Kamara by his players.

MFM FC and Ikorodu United, both of Lagos, Niger Tornadoes of Minna and Plateau United of Jos were the teams that gained promotion to the NPL at the end of the NNL season.
