The Deputy Senate President, Chief Ike Ekweremadu, on Monday called for collective efforts from all sectors to develop and grow the country.

Speaking while unveiling a signage donated by Nneji Christian Chigozie, a member of the National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC) at the secretariat of the ECOWAS parliament, Ekweremadu said the people should mobilise resources for a united, strong and prosperous nation.

The deputy senate president, who lauded the initiative of the corps member, said that the contribution would be acknowledged by the sub-region, particularly Nigeria.

Ekweremadu described the contribution as a service to father land, adding that the gesture would enhance the visibility of the secretariat.

He urged all Nigerians to emulate the young corps member.
