A tweet by Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has confirmed that he has received the ministerial list from President Muhammadu Buhari.

The ministerial list was delivered to Saraki at 5.30 pm on Wednesday, and meets the September deadline Buhari set for himself to release the list which has been a subject of speculation for months.

The letter was delivered by Chief of Staff, Malam Abba Kyari and Senator Ita Enang, the senior special assistant on National Assembly matters to President Buhari.

Saraki’s tweet read: “I can now confirm that I just received #Thelist of Ministerial nominees — Bukola Saraki (@bukolasaraki) September 30, 2015.”

Netizens or internet rats had already started castigating the President that he had failed to keep his promise only for the list to be released late in the evening.
