The fourth edition of the GOtv Boxing Night, a six-bout professional event, will hold on 25 October at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium in Lagos. The announcement of the date was made on Tuesday at a press conference held at the Old Skool Restaurant within the National Stadium Complex.

Speaking at the event, Jenkins Alumona, Managing Director of Flykite Promotions, promoters of the event, said GOtv Boxing Night, which is in its fourth edition, is a proof that the sport has regained its health.

The last edition of the event produced the first locally based millionaire boxer in Olaide “Fijaborn” Fijabi, who emerged the best boxer on the night, winning the N1million cash prize attached to the Mojisola Ogunsanya Memorial Trophy.

Fijabi, who is again on the card, has another opportunity to win the award, making it three on the bounce.
The pick of the six fights on the night is the 10-round international Super Middleweight Challenge duel between former Commonwealth champion Isaac Ekpo and Jules Kabore of Burkina Faso.

Similarly lined up are the 6-round duels which will see Jamiu “Naval Man” Olabode, who will take on Pelumi “Haggler” Sodubi in a Welterweight challenge while Stanley “Edo Boy” Eribo will duel with Isiaka “Easy Lion” Yusuf.
