Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State has approved the appointment of Mr. Abraham Olusola Adeyemi as the new Head of Service of the state.

According to a release by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Barr. Taiwo Adeoluwa, the appointment takes immediate effect.

Adeyemi, 58, is an Elder in the Apostolic Church and hails from Yewa North Local Government Area of the state.

Adeyemi, a member of the National Institute of Management (NIM) joined the State Civil Service as an Administrative Officer in January, 1982.

He rose through the ranks and was appointed Permanent Secretary in June 2005.

He was until his latest elevation, the Permanent Secretary at the Civil Service Commission.

The new Head of Service holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Ibadan obtained in 1980.

He attended the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru, Jos in 2008 where he served as Rapporteur for Study Group Two of the Senior Executive Course 30.

Adeyemi equally attended a top management course at Manchester University Business School, United Kingdom in 2013.
