Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State has carried out a minor cabinet reshuffle in the State Executive Council.
He took the decision at the State Executive Council its meeting held Tuesday held in Benin City, the Edo state capital.
According to a statement by Peter Okhiria, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Hon Isimeme Iriogbe, from the Ministry of Oil and Gas has been moved to the Ministry of Transport while Hon Saturday Uwulekhue, moved from Ministry of Transport to Ministry of Oil and Gas.
Also moved is Hon Aanena Jemitola, from Ministry of Arts & Culture to Ministry of Women Affairs, while Hon Abdul Oroh, was transferred from Ministry of Agriculture to Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
Hon Macdonald Obasuke was moved from Ministry of Commerce and Industry to Ministry of Arts & Culture and Hon Washington Osifo moved from Ministry of Higher Education to Ministry of Energy & Water Resources.
Meanwhile, Hon Joseph Okojie who was sworn in on Monday, takes charge of the Ministry of Agriculture.
