The fourth edition of the GOtv Boxing Night holds today at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Lagos. The event, which kicks off at 4pm, will feature six professional fights and parade the cream of Nigerian boxing talents and a top boxer from Burkina Faso.

On offer is a cash prize of N1million for the best boxer of the event.

The major bout will see Nigeria’s Isaac “Grenade” Ekpo, a former Commonwealth Super Middleweight champion, fighting Jules “Tyson” Kabore of Burkina Faso in a 10-round international challenge contest.

In another fight, Nurudeen “Prince” Fatai, National Lightweight champion, will take on Joe “Otto Boy” Joseph.

Also billed to feature is Olaide “Fijaborn” Fijabi, winner of one million naira cash prize for the best boxer at the last edition of the GOtv Boxing Night, who is taking on Saheed “Happy Boy” Olayiwola in a National Light Welterweight challenge duel.

Other fights are six-round duels between Jamiu “Naval Man” Olabode, and Pelumi “Haggler” Sodubi in a Welterweight challenge, while Stanley “Edo Boy” Eribo will duel with Isiaka “Easy Lion” Yusuf.

Completing the line-up is Waidi “Skoro” Usman, West African Featherweight champion, who will take on Taofik “Taozon” Bisuga in a challenge contest.

The event will be broadcast live on SuperSport.
