Thirty-four ships laden with foods, petroleum products and other goods are expected in Lagos ports from Nov. 2 to Nov. 30, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said on Monday in Lagos.
This is contained in the daily ‘Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) by the NPA.
The document showed that 15 of the expected ships would arrive with containers, while nine would sail in with general cargoes.
It also indicated that eight ships would bring in bulk sugar, buck wheat, bulk salt and rice in bags.
According to the document, the remaining two ships are expected with base oil and petrol.
NAN reports that 11 ships laden with petrol, bulk sugar and general cargoes had arrived and were waiting to berth at the Lagos ports.
