The influence that Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua wields across Africa and the world is enormous and when he speaks people tend to listen.

Joshua paid a visit to Tanzania during the week, his mission was to restore peace amongst the politicians following a fall out after the national polls.

On Saturday night, he met with the country’s main opposition leader, Edward Lowassa and dined with him.

Emmanuel Mwita, a student from Tanzania sent the report of their meeting to PM News.

Here’s what he observed:

Last night, I actually spotted Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua at The Kilimanjaro Hotel in Dar es Salaam having a meal with Tanzania’s Former Prime Minister and opposition leader Edward Lowassa.

Out of the many things they discussed, I overheard the pastor saying something like this to Mr Lowassa:

“Many times, God speaks blessing and breakthrough through pain and disappointment. What happened is to prepare you for the future. We learn obedience by the things we face – I mean, by what we suffer.”

This is BIG news here in Tanzania because Lowassa had previously refused to accept the results of the presidential election, alleging that there was rigging.

Tanzanian media thought TB Joshua came to our country for the inauguration (which he didn’t even attend)!

It seems that he actually came to reconcile the warring political parties – since he is friends with both Lowassa and our new President John Magufuli.

There was a lot of tension in Tanzania after the elections. Lowassa said he will address the nation this Sunday, so we hope TB Joshua’s message has calmed him down!
