“Something funny is going on here,” angry Kogi State Governor, Idris Wada, blurted out as his wife, Halimat couldn’t find her name on voters’ register.

Following this development, Incidence Form had to be filled by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, who complained that they didn’t even have enough of such forms.

They need to fill such forms for many people having problems with their accreditation.

The Governor said he will take up the issue with the Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC.

The card reader also failed when the governor was to be accredited and INEC had to resort to manual register for his registration.

The angry Governor Wada blamed INEC for allegedly deliberately sabotaging the exercise.

Voting may start a bit late at the Governor’s polling unit because of the delay in the accreditation of voters owing to the malfunctioning of card readers.
