Mighty Jets Football Club of Jos has dismissed reports that former Green Eagles player, Baba Otu Mohammed has been appointed General Manager of the club.
The club’s media officer, Mbum Ferdinand, told PM News that there is no position of General Manager at the club, adding that, the club only has a chairman.
“The position of General Manager does not exist within the hierarchy of the club. We only have Chairman, and the Chairman of the Club remain Godfrey Hamza,” Ferdinand said.
He stated that club also has a president: “Alhaji Ismaila Mabo is the President of the Club and we have board of directors too,” he said.
There were reports in the media that Baba Otu Mohammed was appointed the new General Manager of the Mighty Jets Football Club of Jos.
The reports claimed that his appointment followed the dissolution of the former board of the club under the chairmanship of Mr. Godfrey Hamza, who was accused of financial impropriety.
