The Islamic Movement in Nigeria has claimed that the Nigerian army is demolishing buildings that belong to members of the organsiation in Kaduna state.

In a statement sent to PM News, it claimed that the demolition had the backing of the governor of the state, Malam Nasir El-Rufai.

Supporting the operation, Governor of Kaduna State Nasir El-Rufa’i earlier said through his media office that the reason for demolishing the Islamic center is that the building was not approved by the government.

On Wednesday morning they have been reported to demolish a building (B A T) that was recently bought by the Islamic Movement in Nigeria. The demolition was carried out by Nigerian Army and the officials of the Kaduna State Urban and Regional Planning Development Agency (KASUPDA), and later they went ahead and destroyed the Fudiyya Islamic Center (F.I.C) at Dan Magaji area in Zaria town.
