The fifth edition of the GOtv Boxing Night holds today at the Indoor Sports Hall of The National Stadium, Lagos.

The event, conceived to restore the glory of boxing in Nigeria, will feature four fights, three of which are title fights. The headline bout is the African Boxing Union featherweight title bout between reigning champion, Waidi “Skoro” Usman and Edward “Shaka” Kakembo of Uganda.

Also on the card is the national light welterweight title fight between Olaide “Fijaborn” Fijabi and incumbent champion, Sadiq “Police Machine” Ahmed.

Another national title fight will see Sunday “Capo” Olalekan take on Stanley “Edo Boy” Eribo for the welterweight crown.

In the super middleweight category, Sunday “Golden Child” Ajuwa will take on Rasheed “Afonja Warrior” Abolaji in a national challenge contest. The best boxer at the tournament with go away with N1.5m Cash prize and the Mojisola Ogunsanya Memorial Trophy.
