Tinubu urges Nigerians to support govt’s drive for positive change

Senator Oluremi Tinubu (APC-Lagos) has appealed to Nigerians to support the present government’s drive for positive change to help take the country out of recession.
Tinubu, who made the plea in her New Year message in Lagos on Thursday, also urged Nigerians to be patient with the government.
“My message actually is we should settle down to business and face what is on ground.
“Nigeria is going through recession; so, enough of all these talk, a lot of criticizing government.
“This is a new government, who inherited so much rot in the system. What are we going to do?
“My message for Nigerians: this is the time to build our nation, this is the time we get to roll up our sleeves and start the work.
“Everyone should participate; everyone should contribute for the new Nigeria we are advocating for. A Nigeria we are going to build for the younger generation and also generation coming. All hands have to be on deck.
“So, for Nigeria to grow and to be prosperous, it will take time and we can do it. We should stop all the talk and get down to business.”
