Going to Lyn Oslo will wait — Mohammed

FC Taraba midfielder, Usman Mohammed has reiterated his ambition to pursue his planned move to Lyn Oslo of Norway after the Rwanda 2016 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
The player of U-23 Dream Team VI, who is currently with the Super Eagles Team B in Pretoria preparing for CHAN, said the move which could have prevented him from being part of the players for CHAN has to be put on hold for him to serve his fatherland.
He added that as soon as the Rwanda tournament is over, he would kick-start the process of sealing the deal immediately or wait till the Summer transfer window.
According to Mohammed, his agent was about finalising the arrangement for him to travel to Norway, but he had to consider the call up to the CHAN Eagles.
He disclosed that the plan was for him to sign a pre-contract deal with the Norwegian club before CHAN and later sign a full contract, but he had to suspend everything till after the African tournament.
He said he believes the move to Lyn Oslo, former club of Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi and Watford star, Odion Ighalo, will still see the light of the day.
Portuguese club of Super Eagles defender, Shehu Abdullahi, Uniao Madeira are also being rumoured to be interested in the Olympic team midfielder, Mohammed.
Uniao Madeira is the hometown club of Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
The versatile Mohammed will move to Europe as a free agent because he was only on loan at Taraba after a failed move to Ukraine.
