The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) said it had arrested a former Military Administrator of Kaduna State, retired Brig.-Gen. Lawal Jafaru Isa, over alleged involvement in arms deal.
The EFCC spokesman, Mr Wilson Uwujaren, confirmed the arrest when he spoke with NAN in Kano on Thursday.
“I can confirm to you that Jafaru Isa is here with us,” he said.
Uwujaren, who declined to make further comment, said he could not state since when the suspect had been with the commission.
