As part of activities marking the 40th anniversary celebration of Ogun state, the government has declared Tuesday public holiday.

The holiday was declared to enable the residents, students, artisans and market men and women to join in welcoming President Muhammed Buhari to the state.

Ogun state will be 40 on 3 February since its creation and forty legacy projects have been penciled down to be commissioned by President Muhammed Buhari and the past military administrators and governors of the state.

Residents of the state have been enjoined citizens to come out en masse to welcome Mr President who arrived Ijebu Ode, Ogun state Monday to commence his two-day working visit to the state.
