Former Interior Minister, Abba Moro has been sent to Kuje prison by Justice Chikere of the Federal High Court, Abuja after he was  docked on an 11- count charge.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission last Monday arrested Moro and two others over the tragic Nigerian Immigration recruitment scam in 2014.

The other two persons arrested by EFCC were former Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Anaesthesia Nwaobia, and a deputy director who allegedly facilitated the scam.

Some of the charges against Moro and his colleagues include obtaining by false pretence, procurement offences, corrupt practices and money laundering.
