The Winners Golden Chance Lotto has created over 30,000 jobs across Nigeria, its Managing Director, Mr Charles Atta, has said.
Atta disclosed this while answering questions from newsmen at a dinner on Friday held to launch the company in Abuja.
According to Atta, Winners Golden Chance Ventures Limited comprise lotto and sports betting sites.
“We are here this night to launch our company in Abuja; we have been in operation for 11 years in the Southern part of the country.
“We also have sports betting sites but lotto is basically for numbers; it is a game of chance.
“We have over 1,500 principal agents and each of them has over 500 sub agents under them
“So, on the average if each principal agent has 20 sub agents and you multiply by 1,500 we have created well over 30,000 jobs,” he said.
He said the firm paid promptly for all wins, as winners get their payment within one hour.
Atta said that players, who do not win, got some gifts at the end of every month.
On her part, Mrs Peju Akinbiyi, Marketing Manager, Golden Chance Lotto, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the company was making a debut in Northern part of Nigeria.
“We cover the entire South and this is our first time in the Northern part of Nigeria.
“We are duly registered with the National Lottery Regulatory Commission and in every state we operate we are duly registered and we pay all our taxes.
“Tonight, three sub agents were rewarded with a deep freezer, a 32 inch plasma TV and a standing fan respectively,” she said.
According to Akinbiyi, Golden Chance Lotto can be played on laptops, tablets, phones or at Laps New Word Hotel, Jabi, Abuja.
