Justice Okon Abang has just asked Olisa Metuh to open his defence and call his witnesses, if he has any in the corruption case filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

This was after the judge dismissed three applications filed by lawyers to Metuh to stop the trial.

The judge dismissed application by Destra Investments, a company owned by Metuh for adjournment based on the fact that it has just engaged a fresh lawyer as well as an application asking the judge to disqualify himself from hearing the case.
