She added: “As a result, we are going to optimize the space available. It is a lot of space for us to build just a state office. So we are going to look into building other structures that will enhance the performance of NDDC.”
The NDDC boss, who inspected the land in the company of other directors of the Commission, said that the Commission might consider building a training school or some other facility that could be beneficial to the people of Niger Delta.

She stated that the existing design for the state office may have to be reviewed to accommodate training school and directed the Commission’s Design Department to immediately work out options for the optimal utilization of the land.

The NDDC Director Design Department, Mr. Ukeme Nkamare, explained that the designs for the Commission’s offices in its nine mandate states were adapted to meet the various needs of each state. He said that Edo State office would take full advantage of the available space at the site.
