The Ogun State government has confirmed the partial collapse of a four-storey building at the Itoku area of Abeokuta.
In s statement released by Mr. Adedayo Adeneye, the Commissioner for Information & Strategy, for the state, the building was still under construction when it caved in, on Friday morning.
However, there are no casualties, while a rescue mission is still ongoing.
The State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, who is presently on the site of the incident, has assured that the cause of the collapse will be investigated while also asking the good people of Ogun State to remain calm and cooperate with the rescue team.
The Governor also said integrity test will be conducted on the other part of the building to determine its fitness.
