Several governorship aspirants ‎of the All Progressives Congress (APC) participating in the ongoing governorship primary election have expressed displeasure over the unrestricted movement by the state governor, Adams Oshiomhole, around the venue of the election.

Prominent among those opposed to the free movement of Oshiomhole among delegates were the State Deputy Governor, Dr. Pius Odubu and former Minister of State for Works, Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi.

The aspirants could not hide their displeasure over the governor’s unfettered movement all over the election venue, including where the delegates were seated.

They described his movement all over the place as a way of intimidating other aspirants in the election, adding that it could easily sway the result of the election in the direction of his anointed candidate, Godwin Obaseki.

At the height of it, one of ‎Oshiomhole’s aides, Tony Kabaka, openly engaged Dr. Odubu and Engineer Ogiemwonyi in a shouting match.

Several aspirants had earlier expressed bitterness over moves by Governor Oshiomhole to deploy state resources to support his anointed candidate, Godwin Obaseki.
