Britons vote on EU membership

The Electoral Commission said more than 46.5 million voters were registered in 382 areas, with experts predicting turnout between 60 percent and 80 percent.
The commission disclosed that voters are asked just the single question, “Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union.
It said the polls are open until 10 p.m (2100 GMT), with the first results from local counts expected in the early hours of Friday and the final result by 7 a.m Friday.
