Militant group, Niger Delta Avengers on Friday claimed it was responsible for the attack on a pipeline in Bayelsa state. According to Reuters, the pipeline is owned by the Aiteo group, an indigenous energy company.

The Niger Delta Avengers said on its website that they blew up the Nembe 1, 2 and 3 trunkline, a pipeline owned by the group.

In the statement posted on its website and signed by spokesperson, Brig. Gen Mudoch Agbinibo, the group warned Facebook impostors.
