A 35-year-old marketer, Edith Obianuju, who allegedly stole pharmaceutical products valued at N2,215,000 from her employer, on Thursday appeared before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court, Lagos.
Obianuju, who resides at Toma Estate, Owutu, Ikorodu, Lagos, is facing a two-count charge of stealing and obtaining under false pretences.
The prosecutor, Sgt. Michael Unah told the court that the accused committed the offences sometime between May 2015 and August 2016 at Al-tinez Pharm. Ltd., in Ilupeju area of Lagos.

However, the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The Senior Magistrate, Mrs A.O Gbajumo, admitted the accused to bail in the sum of N500,000, with two sureties in like sum.
Gbajumo adjourned the case till Sept. 26 for mention.
