Members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) have been thrown into mourning again as armed men suspected to be herdsmen have killed a pastor of the church in Kaduna.

The killing of the pastor is coming barely three months after the wife of a pastor in Abuja preaching early in the morning was stabbed to death by unknown assailants.

The deceased, Pastor Luka Ubangari, was shot dead at Shawa village, near Godogodo, in Jema’a Local Government Area of the state, while returning from an evangelical visit to Golkofa village.

Ubangari was killed few days after the state Governor, Nasir El-Rufai condemned the incessant killings by herdsmen in the state.
