Former governor of Katsina State, Alhaji Ibrahim Shema has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
In a statement signed by the Commission’s spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, EFCC said Shema was first summoned in December 2015 and has since ignored all invitations extended to him to appear before the Commission.
The poster declaring him wanted stated the former governor is wanted for alleged criminal conspiracy, inflation of contract, abuse of office, diversion of funds and embezzlement running into billions of naira.
